Today is a BIG day for this handsome little guy. His 1st day of OIT!!! Kingston’s parents found out he was allergic to wheat at 6 months old. Mom gave him a bite of a biscuit and he reacted immediately. They rushed to the hospital where the physician treated him. A physician at CHOA referred this awesome family to us and we are so glad they are here! Nurse Amanda pictured teaching the family how to weigh out dosing and what to look for in wheat products to dose with. And of course, our super brave patient excited about his OIT adventure.
